Florida Tech University Online salutes the many servicemembers from all military branches who serve our country while continuing their education. U.S. military and their family members are welcome to attend Florida Tech University Online’s classrooms from wherever they’re based and enjoy special military tuition discounts.
Military Tuition Assistance
For full-time, active-duty servicemembers in each military branch, the military’s tuition assistance program pays for up to 100% of the cost of tuition or expenses up to a maximum of $250 per semester hour credit and a personal maximum of $4,500 per fiscal year per student. Selected military Reserve and National Guard units also offer a tuition assistance program, although the benefits may vary from the full-time duty program.
Military Spouse Discount
Florida Tech supports the people who support our troops! Spouses of active-duty, Reservists, Guardsmen, Veterans, and dependents of disabled or deceased Veterans, receive a 10% discount on graduate tuition. My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA)

Florida Tech is committed to helping military servicemembers meet their personal and professional goals. To offset any costs military tuition assistance may not cover, Florida Tech is now offering active-duty servicemembers, Reservists, Guardsmen, Veterans, spouses and dependents of disabled or deceased Veterans a 10% discount on all graduate degree programs. Over the course of your studies, this discount can result in substantial savings.

Veteran’s Education Benefits
The Department of Veterans Affairs administers several different education benefit programs including The Post-9/11 GI Bill and Montgomery GI Bill. For information on eligibility and how to apply for benefits, visit United States Department of Veterans Affairs.

All college-credit degree programs offered by Florida Tech University Online are state-approved for the use of VA educational benefits. College Fund Programs
Enlistees in the Armed Services who become eligible for their College Fund Programs receive up to $70,000 toward college tuition, when combined with the Montgomery G.I. Bill, and upon honorable discharge. Enlistees who are awarded the College Fund by the Marine Corps or Coast Guard receive even more.
Loan Repayment Programs
In the full-time duty Army, soldiers can qualify to have their loan repaid by the military at the rate of one-third of the loan for each year of full-time duty served (maximum loan repayment is $70,000). The Army also helps soldiers pay off student loans they've taken out, provided they attended schools on an approved Perkins, Stafford, or other Department of Education Guaranteed Student Loan.
In the full-time duty Navy, a $65,000 loan repayment program is also available. Qualifications include prior military service, a high school diploma, and a loan guaranteed under the Higher Education Act of 1965. You must qualify for Navy Nuclear Field or other designated critical rating as defined by the U.S. Navy, and other restrictions apply.
