In 1958, Florida Institute of Technology was founded in Melbourne to educate professionals working on the Space Coast. Today, the regionally accredited university offers associate, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs on campus, at off-site locations and online. Florida Tech continues to be an innovative leader in a variety of disciplines, including psychology, business, cybersecurity, aviation management and information technology. Florida Institute of Technology is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, educational specialist, and doctoral degrees.
