In 1958, Florida Institute of Technology was founded in Melbourne to educate professionals working on the Space Coast. Today, the regionally accredited university offers associate, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs on campus, at off-site locations and online. Florida Institute of Technology is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, educational specialist, and doctorate degrees. Degree-granting institutions may also offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
