Sam Lea, MBA in Management, Class of 2014

The U.S. Army veteran says his time at Florida Tech “was very enriching.”

Q. What are you currently doing professionally?

I’m currently working as a buyer for a textile manufacturer of wet wipes.

Q. What aspects of your time at Florida Tech continue to resonate with you?

I think what still resonates with me since graduation is what I learned about internet marketing in the marketing class I was in. I understand so much better now why I see what I see when I’m on the internet.

Q. Are you a member of the Alumni Association? If so, have you participated in alumni events?

I’m a member of the Alumni Association and I’m extremely proud of being an alum of Florida Tech. So far, I haven’t participated in any alumni events and that’s primarily because I live so far away. I am definitely planning to participate in some alumni events occasionally in the future.

Q. Would you recommend Florida Tech to a friend or family member?

Yes, I would recommend Florida Tech to a friend or family member. It’s a great institution and my experience with Florida Tech was very enriching.
